Vancouver, BC - November 12, 2024 – Pilothouse Brands is thrilled to announce a strategic distribution agreement for its premium ready-to-drink brand, 1983 Creamy Espresso Martini, and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Canada. Launching in LCBO (The Liquor Control Board of Ontario) stores in March 2025,1983 Creamy Espresso Martini will soon bring the iconic cocktail experience to Canadian consumers, with plans to expand into other provinces throughout the year.

Known for its indulgent blend of bold espresso, smooth cream liqueur, and vodka, 1983 - aptly named after the year the original cocktail was invented - brings the beloved espresso martini cocktail to a convenient, ready-to-enjoy, 250mL format. Espresso martinis are a delicate, decadent, and notoriously tedious-to-make cocktail, making them challenging to execute well in a can. As the first creamy espresso martini introduced to the Canadian market, 1983 was developed in collaboration with top formulators and mixologists to achieve the perfect balance, while keeping ingredients simple—just like one would expect at a cocktail bar. The result is a smooth and refined sipping experience crafted for coffee and martini lovers alike. This exciting distribution collaboration with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Canada marks a significant milestone for Pilothouse Brands as it extends its commitment to premium, innovative beverage solutions across North America.

“Partnering with Southern Glazer’s has been a goal of ours since day one, and earning their support is a testament to the quality of 1983 Creamy Espresso Martini,” said Sheereen Price, Co-Founder of Pilothouse. Her Co-Founder Gabrielle Mustapich added, “As a startup in a market often dominated by global giants, we’re both thrilled and honored to bring 1983 to the LCBO with Southern Glazer’s support. As Canadians who have worked to grow our brands across borders, this agreement marks an exciting new chapter in sharing our unique products with our home country.”

Founded in 2019 by Gabrielle Mustapich and Sheereen Price, Pilothouse Brands is a privately funded company with offices in Vancouver and Los Angeles. In addition to 1983Pilothouse also oversees Hardpops, a U.S.-based hard ice pop brand well known for its appearances on and off the ice at the NHL’s Florida Panthers home stadium, where it served as the official boozy ice pop of the Stanley Cup champion team. Through both brands, Pilothouse has established a reputation for delivering quality, fan-favorite products across the beverage industry.
